NetZero-Planet.com is the plantation wing of NetZero Planet Foundation; an environmental platform built on a simple yet powerful belief:

Awareness alone is not enough. Real change requires action, responsibility, structured systems, and sustained public participation.

The Foundation works to bridge the gap between environmental concern and real world implementation by enabling and supporting:

Through a combination of grassroots experience and structured execution, we transform intent into measurable environmental impact.

Rooted in Grassroots Action

The journey of NetZero Planet Foundation is deeply rooted in community based environmental action. It draws its strength and field experience from Green Parikud, a grassroots tree plantation and environmental awareness movement launched on 3 July 2015 in the founder’s native village.

Over the years, this movement brought together:

• Self Help Groups (SHGs)
• Social workers
• Teachers and students
• Local communities

Through sustained, year round engagement,lakhs of native and palm trees were planted across Odisha, particularly in the ecologically sensitive coastal regions of Chilika and the Bay of Bengal.

Building on this strong foundation and more than a decade of practical experience in tree plantation and environmental awareness, NetZero Planet Foundation was formally established on 28 March 2025 under Section 8 of the Companies Act, with the vision of expanding its impact nationally and globally through comprehensive environmental solutions.

India’s Commitment to Net Zero

India has committed to combating climate change with a target of achieving NetZero emissions by 2070. As part of this vision, the country has set ambitious milestones for 2030:

• 500 GW of non-fossil energy, contributing to 50% of total electricity capacity.
• 45% reduction in carbon intensity (from 2005 levels), along with a reduction of one billion tonnes of carbon emissions .
• Creation of an additional 2.5–3 gigatonnes of CO₂ carbon sink through large scale tree plantation .

These goals highlight the critical role of tree plantation and sustainable practices in shaping India’s environmental future.

At NetZero.Planet.com, we support this national mission by promoting awareness and enabling action across individuals, businesses, and governments at all levels; local, national, and global.

Our approach focuses on three key pillars:

• Reduce Carbon Emissions : Encourage responsible lifestyles and sustainable operational practices to minimize carbon footprints.
• Adopt Renewable Energy : Promote the use of solar and other clean energy solutions.
• Expand Tree Plantation : Offset carbon emissions through large scale plantation and long term nurturing of trees.
